Standpoint Studios is a registered charity comprising five large studios providing creative workspace for 15+ artists and makers, an Education Studio, and education and outreach workshops or events focused on providing direct, high-quality art-making opportunities.

Classes and Workshops

New North Press and the ceramics studio provide weekly / monthly classes and workshops:

New North Press: Introduction to Letterpress

A hands-on introduction to the craft of letterpress. Classes are held at New North Press (here at Standpoint). A basic knowledge of graphic design or interest in typography helps, but is not essential. We believe that the passing on of knowledge is key to letterpress’ survival. We provide regular monthly classes and workshops sharing the tools and skills with anyone interested in learning.

Classes are held weekly on Wednesday evening 6.30-9pm and Thursday mornings 10am-1pm and are bookable in 12 week blocks. All levels are welcome.
